CSGA Reminds Members of Application Deadline Grace Periods Amid Wet Conditions
CSGA recognizes the difficult field conditions in Saskatchewan and northern Alberta as the June 10 application deadline approaches for forages, flax, canola, mustard, corn, fababean and field peas.
Application deadlines are established well in advance and include a built-in 14-day grace period designed to provide flexibility for the varying spring conditions experienced across Canada. This longstanding approach helps accommodate differences in planting progress and seasonal challenges from region to region.
For members applying for crops with a June 10 deadline, this means applications received by CSGA by June 24 will not be subject to a late application penalty.
Members are encouraged to submit applications as soon as they are able.
CSGA will continue to monitor conditions and will send out future communications if required. Members with questions or concerns about their application timing are encouraged to reference the Application Support Document or contact CSGA. We’re happy to help.
