Cathy Jo (CJ) Noble is Executive Director and reports directly to the Board of Directors. CJ oversees CSGA’s government and stakeholder engagement, representing the Association with government, stakeholders and partners across Canada. As Executive Director, she works closely with the Board of Directors in advancing the Association’s vision and strategic priorities, supporting a strong and innovative seed sector for the benefit of Canadian agriculture.
Caroline Lafontaine

Caroline manages the daily operations of the Association, implements business strategies and procedures, and oversees the programs and services that support members and stakeholders. She provides leadership to the Board of Directors, regional provincial Branches, and staff while helping shape policies to advance the Association.

Mike is responsible for CSGA’s standards development and maintenance process which ensures that Canada’s seed and seed crop certification requirements are science-based, fit for purpose, transparent, accessible, consensus-based and include multi-stakeholder participation. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Mike represents CSGA on seed regulation and other policy and standards matters nationally and internationally.

Gail assists in the development of new standards and related policies and programs. She maintains the Canadian Regulations and Procedures for Pedigreed Seed Crop Production (Circular 6). Reporting to the Managing Director, Policy and Standards, Gail also provides support to the Manager, Certification.
Brianna Chouinard

Brianna manages the certification department and all aspects of seed crop certification. She conducts seed crop certification appraisals and assists in the development of standards and CSGA policy and programs. Brianna reports to the Chief Operating Officer and provides support to the Managing Director, Policy and Standards.
