Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

As Executive Director, Doug manages all stakeholder and strategic partner relations while working closely with Board or Directors and Branches to deliver on the Association’s strategic vision and move toward seed certification system modernization. Reporting directly to the Board, Doug represents CSGA and its ~3,200 members nationally and internationally.

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Caroline manages the daily operations of the Association, implements business strategies and procedures, and oversees the programs and services that support members and stakeholders. She provides leadership to the Board of Directors, regional provincial Branches, and staff while helping shape policies to advance the Association. Caroline reports to the Executive Director.

Managing Director, Finance and Administration

Pam oversees CSGA’s accounting, finance and human resource management systems. She reports directly to the Executive Director.

Managing Director, Policy and Standards

Mike is responsible for the seed crop certification requirements in the Canadian Regulations and Procedures for Pedigreed Seed Crop Production (Circular 6). Reporting the Chief Operating Officer, Mike represents CSGA on seed regulation and other policy and standards matters nationally and internationally.

Standards Manager

Gail assists in the development of new standards and related policies and programs. She maintains the Canadian Regulations and Procedures for Pedigreed Seed Crop Production (Circular 6). Reporting to the Managing Director, Policy and Standards, Gail also provides support to the Manager, Certification.

Certification Manager

Brianna manages the certification department and all aspects of seed crop certification. She conducts seed crop certification appraisals and assists in the development of standards and CSGA policy and programs. Brianna reports to the Chief Operating Officer and provides support to the Managing Director, Policy and Standards.

Communications and Engagement Manager

Tania is responsible for executing CSGA’s communications and member engagement strategies and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Technology and Digital Enablement Manager

Janet manages CSGA’s SeedCert platform and the implementation of CSGA digital strategies, tools, and initiatives. She reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Policy Officer

Lakshana assists in the development of CSGA policy and programs and provides research, planning and project management functions. Reporting to the Managing Director, Policy and Standards, she also supports the Chief Operating Officer as needed.

Policy and Certification Officer

Emmanuel conducts seed crop certification appraisals and assists in the development of CSGA policies and programs. He reports to the Manager, Certification.
