The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has released its Seed Regulatory Modernization (SRM) Policy Paper and opened a 65-day consultation on 52 proposals that could reshape Canada’s seed system.

The Good News
Most proposals align with CSGA’s vision for a forward-looking, digitally enabled, and collaborative seed certification system.
