The Canadian Regulations and Procedures for Pedigreed Seed Crop Production manual, commonly known as Circular 6, contains the requirements to produce pedigreed seed crops in Canada. Growers wishing to produce pedigreed seed should understand these requirements and plan their operations to comply with them.

Regulation Changes

Regulation changes have been made in the Regulations and Procedures for Pedigreed Seed Crop Production (Circular 6), effective in 2016.  For clarifications on the latest updates, download the Notice of Changes.  The official version of Circular 6 will be updated on the website on February 1st and will reflect the current and official regulations for 2016.
