The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has just released the results of its second Seed Regulatory Modernization (SRM) pre-consultation survey in a “What We Heard Report.” This report summarizes stakeholder feedback on SRM Task Team recommendations and ‘big picture’ concepts from organizations like CSGA.
CSGA is encouraged by the feedback, which includes support for CSGA’s aspirations to become the main administrator of Canada’s seed certification system and expand SeedCert to provide a single digital window for the sector. Read the news release here and read more on SRM here.
