Introducing CJ Noble, CSGA’s Next Executive Director

July 15, 2026

We’re pleased to announce that Cathy-Jo (CJ) Noble will join CSGA as our new Executive Director in mid-August 2026.

CJ brings more than 30 years of experience in public affairs, government relations and agricultural leadership. Most recently, she led policy and government relations for the National Cattle Feeders’ Association and the Alberta Cattle Feeders’ Association, following more than a decade as CEO of the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association.

Earlier in her career, CJ worked directly in government on rural development, agriculture and food inspection files, giving her a strong understanding of how policy affects farmers on the ground. She is also a graduate of the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Rural Ontario Institute.

CJ’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for CSGA, and we look forward to working with her to deliver an inclusive and transparent national seed crop certification and standards-setting system that fosters innovation, empowers farmers and strengthens collaboration across the value chain.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Caroline Lafontaine for her leadership as Interim Executive Director throughout this transition. Caroline will continue in her role as Chief Operating Officer.
