On July 1, 2023, the new Canadian Breeder Seed Requirements (BSR) came into effect and replace the current Canadian Regulations and Procedures for Breeder Seed Crop Production. The BSR describes the requirements for CSGA recognition of plant breeders, Breeder seed crop production, and the approval of Breeder seed. We thank those who have participated in the BSR development and the consultation processes.
